Gather all ingredients.
Roll out croissant dough, and pull apart along the perforated lines.
Put two of the mini frankfurters at the wide side of the croissant dough and roll it up neatly and tightly.
Heat grill to medium heat, and melt a small amount of butter on the griddle insert until griddle is lightly covered.
Place pigs in a blanket directly on the griddle. Close lid.
When one side of the the croissant dough looks cooked about (5 minutes) flip to the other side.
Repeat until all sides are cooked.
Take pigs in a blanket off grill and place on a platter. Add some bbq sauce for dipping if desired.
