Melt butter in the cast iron kettle.
Slowly add sugar and eggs. Crack eggs and add in one at a time between stirring,
Add milk and flour alternately beginning and ending with flour. Add both vanilla and almond extract.
Let pound cake cook for 1 hour and 25 minutes,
Once pound cake is cooked take it off the grill and let it sit for 30 minutes to cool.
Once cool, take it out of the pan, slice and enjoy!
